Fuzzy-Set Theoretic Control Design for Aircraft Engine Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing: Mismatched Uncertainty and Optimality

A novel robust control design is proposed for aircraft engines. The engine modeled as an uncertain dynamic system, whose uncertainty may be (possibly fast) time-varying. possible value of the prescribed to within fuzzy sets. This distinguishes our modeling from Takagi–Sugeno inference system. divided into matched and mismatched portions. While lies range space input matrix, falls outside, which poses a significant challenge design. objective propose new engines, are subject uncertainty. control, deterministic not IF–THEN rule-based, designed. parameter needs feasible, i.e., range.
